Pelikan Special Edition M1005 Clear Demonstrator Fountain Pen

This special edition commemorates the history of Pelikan's ingenuity. The perfected piston mechanism for fountain pen was originally patented in 1929, and its longevity is proof of its quality and success. It is fascinating to watch the mechanism in action when you refill your fountain pen. Produced in Pelikan's largest size, the 1005, offers a generous view of the pen making expertise.  Each pen is handmade in Germany .The completely translucent barrel is created by ensuring that no color particles enter the production process The hand crafted nib is 18 carat gold and coated with rhodium to give a silver impression. All of the rings and clip are plated with palladium, completing the silver finish to the pen
