Pelikan Limited Edition Maki-e Koi Fountain Pen

The colorful fish from Japan called Koi, a symbol for endurance, strength, and the determination to reach your goal, even if you have to overcome countless obstacles. Even the Japanese children knows the story of the Koi that battled its way up a waterfall in order to become a dragon. The Koi and their habitat were drawn on this amazing fountain pen in the size 1000, with the elaborate Kaga Togidashi-Taka-Maki-e technique
This series is limited to only 88 pieces worldwide and is individually numbered and signed by the artist. It comes with an 18 carat, bi-color gold nib and encased in a traditional Japanese pen box made of Paulownia wood.
