Pelikan Limited Edition M1000 Dragonfly Maki-e Fountain Pen

The Dragonfly is a popular motif in traditional Maki-e art for hundreds of years and a traditional symbol of good luck in Japanese culture.

 The Pelikan M1000 Maki-e Dragonfly Fountain Pen has five different dragonflies vividly drawn on the beautiful background of the pen barrel. The image of the dragonfly is created by using many different Maki-e techniques such as Raden and gold dust and include Byakutan-nuri, Kawari-nuri and Togidashi-Taka-Maki-e.

111 indvidually signed and numbered pieces worldwide with 18k solid gold nib 

Each pen comes in a traditional Japanese case made of wood from Paulonia.
