This is the new Sailor Pro Gear Imperial Black Fountain Pen.  Sailor has released a 1911 and a Pro Gear in Matte Black finishes before, but not quite like this one. In addition to the matte black finish covering every inch of the pen, including the section, the nib and metal accents are black nickel chrome plated.The nib is Sailor’s standard 21 carat solid gold in Fine, Medium, Broad, and Zoom. The Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Combining a sleek matte black finish with the Pro Gear flat-top design and smoky rhuthenium trim, this is one of the most distinctive and attractive pens that Sailor has yet produced.
