Sailor 1911 Full-Size Rei Urushi Wajima Tame Nuri Fountain Pen

Sailor Rei Urushi-nuri series consists of three designs by two different artists from Japan’s Wajima region and Aomori Prefecture. The models are namely Tsugaru Sabi Nuri, Wajima Akebono nuri and Wajima Tame Nuri. The pen which is slightly larger than a 1911 Large, but smaller than a King of Pen. 

Rei Urushi Wajima Tame-nuri fountain pen is crafted by lacquer artist Masanori Sumi in the traditional multi-layered style of Wajima city. A vermilion intermediate layer of lacquer is coated with a transparent reddish-brown layer on the ebony body and then polish to shine. The pen comes with an 21K gold nib.
