One of the most loved Gods of the Hindu pantheon, Ganesha has the head of an elephant and the body of a human. He is the culmination of ‘buddhi’, wisdom and ‘siddhi’ – achievement. Here, Baby Ganesha, cradled in the trunk of a mighty elephant is being indulged with his favorite dessert, fondly watched by his father, Shiva.
His auspicious blessing is invoked before any significant offering or event.  Many legends trace his symbolism from the ancient Vedic times in Indian history to the present day.
