Pensinasia is a collection of more than a decade of pens, fine writing instruments, and limited edition collectables. Visconti Limited Edition LA Constituzione Europea Fountain Pen

 

 

Visconti was commissioned by the Italian government for the signing of the European Constitution of 2004. All 25 signing countries were issued with a pen to sign the treaty and to keep as a gift. This custom designed pen is made from a classic blue resin, which matches the blue of the European flag, and its rhodium clip is decorated with twelve diamonds representing the twelve stars of the flag. The four sides of the pen barrel, engraved with Roman numerals, are a reminder of the Constitution’s four chapters and a rotating mechanism within the barrel of the pen shows the name of each country signing and the date.
