Dupont Special Edition Defi Hope for Japan Ball Pen

In the face of the disastrous events that occurred in Japan, S.T.Dupont has created a limited edition called “Hope”, as a sincere message of hope and support to the Japanese population that has been so severely affected.
The “Hope” limited edition, a Défi pen and a Ligne 8 lighter, both conceived in bright lacquer red, a bearer of positive reflections, a true symbol of love and life.
The Défi pen and Ligne 8 lighter, have chosen the well known symbol of cherry trees in flower (Cherry Blossom, or “Sakura” in Japanese), which signifies renewal in Japan, as embodied in the calligraphic symbol for the word Hope. A theme that is dear to a culture that has always adopted the fragility of an ephemeral world an essential motif for its artistic representations.
All profits, namely 50 Euros per product, will be donated - through the French Red Cross - to the Japanese Red Cross, as a token of our support for Japan.
