Pilot Limited Edition 100th Anniversary Emperor Mount Fuji Fountain Pen

 

The Pilot Pen Corporation was founded by Ryosuke Namiki with Masao Wada in 1918 under the name of the Namiki Manufacturing Company.

Mt.Fuji is known as one of the world’s famous mountains and was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 2013.

Pilot 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Mount Fuji is an exquisite, emperor-size maki-e fountain pen. The picture of snow atop of Mt. Fuji on the cap was done by means of Rankaku (eggshell) technique while the barrel depicts a landscape dotted with pines, said to be a symbol of longevity finished with Shishiai Togidashi Taka Maki-e (Combined Raised and Burnished Maki-e) techniques.

The Fountain Pen is limited to 100 pens and comes with an 18K gold nib with Eyedropper filling system.
