Pensinasia is a collection of more than a decade of pens, fine writing instruments, and limited edition collectables. Over the past years, I have painstakingly detailed and photographed each pen I have owned, recording down every minute detail within this website. Omas Limited Edition Solaia Wine Fountain Pen

OMAS Solaia is dedicated to the Italian wine tradition of Marchesi Antinori vineyards. Each pen is made from the aged oak of the Marchesi Antinori barrels and sterling silver.
 The sunniest plot of land of the Tignanello Estate in the Tuscany hills between Florence and Siena is Solaia, where the best grapes for Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese are grown.
 The family coat of arms and a grapevine are engraved on the cap made of solid sterling silver and the rhombus pattern of the Antinori shield on the knob. Enameled rings in orange and green represent the colors of the historical Solaia label. Solaia was the first Italian wine elected “Wine of the Year” by Wine Spectator.  A limited edition of 1978 pens are made of which 1200 for fountain pen and 778 for roller ball pens.
 The fountain pen offers a rhodium-plated 18K gold nib.
