Pensinasia is a collection of more than a decade of pens, fine writing instruments, and limited edition collectables. Over the past years, I have painstakingly detailed and photographed each pen I have owned, recording down every minute detail within this website. Namiki Aya Akatsuki Daybreak Fountain Pen

The Namiki permanent collection is enriched with four new models, signed by the Kokkokai group craftsmen presented in the AYA range. In Japanese, the word “A Y A” means colored light.
Abstract patterns that represent an enchanting world, imbued with poetry and that will feed our imagination.

Akatsuki (Daybreak) the dark and mysterious hour of the day, just before the sunrises. This word also means the fulfilment of a wish. This model highlights the power of the sun rising in the darkness of the night.

Each fountain pen is enhanced with coloured lacquer and a pattern in Togidashi maki- e, Raden, gold or silver powder.
The extraordinary 18 K gold nib with the effigy of Mount Fuji completes each model.
