Namiki 2001 Limited Edition Yukari King Cobra Fountain Pen

The Namiki Limited Edition The King Cobra Fountain Pen was created in 2001 and signed by the master Maki-e artist Michifumi Kawaguchi to celebrate the Year of Snake, featuring the beauty of Togidashi and Taka Maki-e techniques. It was inspired by the fascination and respect for one of the most awesome and deadly snakes in the world for its aggressive reputation and lethal defense.
The King Cobra is intelligent animals praised in eastern cultures for their power, fertility and parental prowess and perceived as godlike by some societies.
 
The pen comes with 18k gold nib and also ink bottle, certificates and instruction manual. Limited to 700 pieces.
