Nakaya Equilibrium Piccolo Heki-tamenuri Fountain Pen

 

The Nakaya Equilibrium Pen or The Balance control model has a mechanism called "Weight Ring" where one or more metal rings can be inserted into the pen. It allows the user to adjust the weight and to balance the pen according to the user wish.This model has a spiral thread cut with the lathe on the whole inside of the barrel. Several weight rings can be set at any position inside the barrel, so you can adjust the weight and the balance as you want.  
Five weight rings are initially supplied with the pen. (The maximum supported rings is ten. In the portable size model, nine)
