Joseph Rudyard Kipling was born on the 30 December 1865, Mumbai, India and died on the 18 January 1936 in London, United Kingdom. He was an English journalist, short-story writer, poet, and novelist. His works of fiction include The Jungle Book, Kim, and many short stories.

Montblanc's Writer Series Limited Edition Homage to Rudyard Kipling Pen.s take its inspiration from his 'The Jungle Book'  The barrel and cap are made of Jungle green colour resin with matt surface inspired by the cover of the book's first U.S edition. The cap has been engraved with his handwriting initials R.K. and with 'IF' engrave on tha cap top and ring. The clip with platinum coated with embossed wolf's head.
