Montblanc Special Edition M Red Fountain Pen

Montblanc M Ball Point Pen was designed by Marc Newson,the most influential designer of his generation. The letter M stands for Newson’s first name as well as for Montblanc. Newson was born in Sydney, Australia on 20 October 1963 and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2012 New Year Honours for services to design. 

This pen is made of shiny red precious resin. The forepart and clip are made of platinum plated. The nib is hand-crafted Au585 14K solid gold, rhodium coated ruthenium coated inlay. The cap with a magnetic snap mechanism smooths the closure and keeps the cap firmly in place and in perfect alignment with a white precious resin Montblanc emblem. An additional magnet is in the plateau for the cap to sit when posted.
