Montblanc Donation Series Homage to George Gershwin Fountain Pen

George Gershwin was born on September 26,1898 - July 11, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York. He was an American composer and pianist who was considered the first composer who brought jaxx into the concerrt hall.

The Montblanc Donation Pen George Gershwin Fountain pen paid tribute to  world famous classical musicians of the past decades. It was made of black precious resin with platinum coated details. The iconic clarinet of the clip and the cap ring is inspired by the close relationship between him and his place of birth by the engraving of the Brooklyn Bridge and his signature. The nib is finely engraved with skylines and the ink window has a blue colour in reference to Rhapsody in Blue.

The Fountain pen comes in a special gift box with complementary information booklet and reproductions of pictures of New York of that time
