Visconti Homo Sapiens Dark Age Oversize Fountain Pen

Visconti introduced a new version of the Homo Sapiens, the Homo Sapiens Dark Age pen. Handmade from 

hardened basaltic lava from the Mount Etna volcano in Italy with an all-black trim.

It is virtually unbreakable, comfortable and warm to the touch, absorbing moisture from your hand. 

and has a high degree of resilience, resistance to heat of over 100°C

Homo Sapiens Dark Age pen comes with stealthy black PVD trim and black 18k Gold nib. 

The rest of the pen is the same as the original Home Sapiens, with the “Hood Safe Lock” cap which uses channels cut in the

barrel and is spring loaded making it secure, tight and easy to use. 

 The Fountain pen comes with a Visconti high vacuum power filler charging system made of titanium which is resistant to ink aggressiveness and the traditional arch shape spring loaded clip for easy slip on any pocket.
