Sailor Limited Edition King of Pens Asa-Tsuyu Fountain Pen

The King of Pen is well-known as Sailor's largest fountain pen. They are handcrafted from ebonite and then finished with up to twelve coats of rich Urushi lacquer with black urushi as the base. In King of Pen Asa-tsuyu Fountain Pen, the artist Wataru Kurotobi then embbed blue abalone (raden) and finishes off with blue, green and white urushi to create a colour gradation using the Hakeme-nuri tachnique, which mimics daybreak cascading on dew covered plants. Finally using siver powder to make drops of dew.
