Sailor Limited Edition King of Pen (KOP) Maki-e Japanese Classical Performing Arts Shakkyou Fountain Pen
Sailor Limited Edition King of Pen Maki-e Japanese Classical Performing Arts Shakkyou Fountain Pen
Inspired by Noh, one of Japan’s most revered classical performing arts, “Shakkyou” depicts the mythical Stone Bridge of Qingliang Mountain, where a majestic lion spirit performs a graceful dance among blooming peonies, symbols of strength, vitality, and beauty.
Renowned for its intricate choreography and profound symbolism, Shakkyo embodies the refined aesthetics and spiritual depth of Noh theatre, offering a poetic reflection on harmony between nature and humanity.
Each pen is elegantly presented in a Hakone marquetry gift box, handcrafted using a traditional Edo-period technique. The delicate geometric patterns, formed from an array of natural woods, capture the essence of Japanese artistry and craftsmanship.
