Inspired by Hans Tippel's iconic 1899 artwork Grundfarben, this Pelikan Special Edition pays tribute to a landmark piece of the brand's history. Originally created for Pelikan's first poster competition, the artwork portrays the pelican as a devoted guardian,a timeless symbol of trust, responsibility, and commitment that continues to define Pelikan today.

Bringing this historic masterpiece to life, the pen features a reinterpretation of the artwork's flowing cloud motifs across its decorative sleeve. Framed by warm translucent brown resin, the design creates a captivating interplay of light, depth, and movement, elegantly blending heritage with modern craftsmanship.

Crafted using Pelikan's advanced Aurora process, the barrel showcases intricate guilloché engraving beneath layers of lacquer, resulting in a luminous and refined finish. The Special Edition Souverän® M600 is fitted with a smooth-writing two-tone 14-karat gold nib and complemented by signature 24-karat gold-plated accents, including Pelikan's iconic beak clip and decorative rings.

Each fountain pen is presented in a book-style gift box and accompanied by a miniature reproduction of Tippel's historic Grundfarben poster, making it a remarkable tribute to Pelikan's artistic legacy.
