Namiki Yukari Size Maki-e Turtles Roller Ball Pen

 

This turtles are placed in a pond environment, complete with lilly pads, fallen leaves and splash ripples, all traditional subjects of Japanese painting. This design is beautifully executed in pigments and gold flake on black urushi lacquer.
