Tame-nuri
Tame-nuri is the process of applying a layer of transparent urushi lacquer on top of the undercoat of urushi lacquer. The transparency of the upper urushi lacquer reveals the state of the lacquer accumulation, and the more the lacquer is used, the more shiny and beautiful the color becomes.
