Each Lunar New Year, Nahvalur selects one pen to carry the banner. For 2026, that honour belongs to the Nahvalur Pen of the Year: Horse. A bold, collectible edition built on our most recognisable silhouette and elevated with details that reward a closer look

At its heart is a swirling black and gold resin, poured to create depth and movement, then shaped into the instantly recognisable Nautilus form, a profile collectors know at a glance, whether on a shelf, in a case, or in hand. Anchoring the design is a newly crafted cap ring featuring a refined horse motif, a quiet signature that ties the edition together without overpowering the material.

Completing the piece is the return of burnished bronze trims, last seen on the Bronze Corydoras fountain pen. Warm, softly aged, and perfectly harmonised with the gold swirling through the resin.

To accompany the release, Nahvalur introduces Saddle Amber ink, a companion colour created to echo the warmth and richness of the Horse edition.

Limited to just 999 individually numbered units, the Pen of the Year: Horse is a celebration of craftsmanship, symbolism, and the spirit of the Lunar New Year.
