Montegrappa Limited Edition Oriental Zodiac 2013 Snake Fountain Pen
The Snake 2013 is a limited edition to celebrate a specific year among the 12 in the Chinese Zodiac. Occupying the 6th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Snake symbolises diverse character traits that include intelligence, gracefulness and materialism. Snakes are persuasive and extremely analytical.
Five elements further define The Snake: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. The Snake’s five elements complete a 60-year-cycle. 2013’s classification is The Water Snake, which last occurred in 1953. the Water Snake is also influential, motivated, insightful and highly intellectual.
Montegrappa’s Snake 2013 Limited Edition writing instruments are decorated with stunning die-cast overlays, with special a deep red-brown hue of pearlised resin called ‘Pietra’ work with metalwork. The Snake is carved from the semi-precious stone Carnelian, in a color to match the cap and barrel, which according to the Chinese Horoscope is a symbol of wealth and good luck charm.
Fountain pens boast ebonite feeder, 18K gold nib and a piston filling system.
The collection is available as a limited edition of only 888 fountain pens and 888 rollerball pens in sterling silver and only 88 fountain pens and 88 rollerball pens in solid 18K gold.
