Montblanc Special Edition John F Kennedy Burgundy Fountain Pen has been designed to commemorate John F. Kennedy who served as the 35th president of the United States of America from 20 January 1961 to 22 November 1963, was one of the most revered figures in modern history. He was riding in a presidential motorcade in Dealey Plaza with his wife Jacqueline, Texas Governor John Connally and wife, Nellie, when he was assassinated on Friday, November 22, 1963, at 12:30 p.m.in Dallas,Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald who was later arrested for the crime however was never prosecuted due to his murder by Jack Ruby.

The pen barrel and cap are made from Bordeaux coloured precious resin refers to Kennedy’s famous Ivy League style. The gold plated clip has been engraved with the famous Ivy League Styled 'JFK' and the three rings at the bottom of the cap are referenc to his three brothers. The handcrafted 14K gold nib is engraved with the Lunar Module which landed on the moon in 1969. Trimming are in 14K gold plated.
