AP Limited Edition Maki-e The Hanakatoba Flowers Fountain Pen

AP presents Hanakotoba, the Japanese term for the language of flowers.

Flowers hold a special significance in cultures across time and communicate emotion and meaning to develop

a very unique language of their own. The language of flowers was clearly expressed in Victorian England 

when flower bouquets were used to exchange coded messages. Flowers became symbolic of many expressions of 

life in the Oriental culture and the heritage of Hanakotoba continues to influence the Japanese art of flower arrangement called Ikebana.
