CHRONOSWISS
RETROGRADE
DISPLAYS - THE DIGITAL ANALOGUE RETROGRADE
Without a doubt,
the Delphis from Chronoswiss numbers among the modern classics Premiered
in 1996, the Delphis shows the time in three different ways digital
display for the hours, retrograde display for the minutes, and analogue
display for the seconds. An extraordinary watch deserves an extraordinary
movement. The Chronoswlss caliber C.124 is based on the familiar
Chronoswiss C.121, whose godfather is a solid Enicar construction that
dates from the 1960s.

This also explains
why the central rotor winds in one direction. The patented, 1.4-mm-thin
cadrature mounted atop the C.121 entitles it to a new name C.124. Inside
the Delphis ticks the world's only wristwatch movement that unites analog,
digital and retrograde displays in a single timepiece "This
technique, whose organs are situated directly below the dial, cost me
plenty of sleepless nights," explains Gerd-Rüdiger Lang,
Chronoswiss's founder, owner and chief design engineer.

The large blued
steel hand on this timepiece's retrograde minutes display progresses along
a complete 180° semicircle. After completing its hour-long journey and
reaching its destination at "60, " it leaps almost
instantaneously back to its starting position and resumes its Sisyphean
labor. A spring mechanism ensures that the minute-hand's leap to zero and
the hour-disk's advance to the next numeral occur at precisely the same
moment: two springs each continually store energy between the hourly
leaps, then instantly release their energy when the switch takes place.

Watch
is New
New, not worn and not
dated too. With original box and open papers too! This is the most sort
after Chronoswiss watch. Very few are produced yearly because of the
limited calibre Chronoswiss has in stock. It's movement is patented and is
the only brand and design that has three in one jumping hour, retrograde
minute hand and sub-seconds-hand dial. Truly another piece of complication
at an extremely fair price!!
Undated papers!!
