Cigar
PinkGold Vermeil 2001 special edition is limited to only 38 pieces
worldwide. The Montegrappa Cigar 1997 received worldwide success with
enduring demands. In the New Millennium 2001, the passions for cigars led
Montegrappa into producing a special limited edition for those who miss out
the previous edition in 1997 and 1999. (*smile*,
but I still have the Cigar 1997 although Montegrappa don't have it
anymore).
Working
with celluloid, Montegrappa has produced yet another masterpiece worthy of
the preceding editions. The PinkGold vermeil is superbly combined with the
brown celluloid and only 38 pieces for the lucky few who appreciate the
"Priviledge of a Lifetime"
Montegrappa Cigar is an outstanding achievement by the artisans and
technicians of Montegrappa. Made of a solid celluloid rod which takes a year
to make and two months to cure, it catches the colouration of cured tobacco
and is embellished with sterling silver .

Montegrappa Cigar features state-of-the-art performance for an
ergonomically correct extension from the hand through to the pen and on to
the paper. Cigar is equipped with a large capacity (1.4 cc.) ink reservoir
which is piston fed. Cigar boasts a flexible platinum masked solid 18K gold
nib for soft and cushiony writing and with a hand-turned ebonite feed for
consistent ink flow.

Montegrappa Cigar also features a unique and original mechanism
which allows its owner to extend the grip section and expose a window into
the ink reservoir. Each pen is presented in an attractive leather embossed wooden case, reminiscent of a
prestigious cigar box.
