A tribute
to a legend like no other. On the occasion of Greta Garbo's 100th
birthday Montblanc has dedicated its first Special Edition for the
elegant woman. The extraordinary design with a black barrel, a cream
coloured cap, both made of precious resin, the very female shape and a
clip which is set with a white, round Akoya pearl make this writing
instrument as unique as the goddess herself.
Swedish actress Greta Gustafson's first job as a barbershop lather
girl did not hint at her future greatness, but even as a youth she
photographed beautifully, and from commercials and publicity shorts she
steadily ascended into the coveted ranks of MGM's most memorable movie
divas. A few of her notable roles include Anna Christie (1930), Romance
(1930), Camille (1937), and Ninotchka (1939), all of which
earned her Academy Award nominations; her climatic death scene performance
in Camille is considered one of the finest ever recorded on film.
Greta Garbo--the unforgettable face capable of registering everything and

style and glamour elevated her from film legend to screen goddess.
Montblanc captures her elegant persona in the soulful expression of their
new tribute pen: A black precious resin barrel is contrasted with a
curvaceous, cream-coloured precious resin cap. Platinum-plated fittings
accent the instrument, and the famous signature encircles the cap ring.
For a finishing touch, the clip is set with one white, round Akoya pearl
(5.25mm). This shimmering ensemble comes to you packaged in an elegant
