PELIKAN SPECIAL EDITION SAHARA FOUNTAIN PEN
With its Natural Phenomenon series, Pelikan explores the fascinating
spectacles of nature in the world. Following the successful Niagara
Falls edition, the series now focuses on another natural wonder, the
Sahara Desert. The Sahara is the largest non-polar desert in the world,
covering nine million square miles stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to
the Red Sea. Crafted of the finest materials, the Sahara writing
instruments echo the colors and textures of the windswept sands. The
gilded, filigree overlay is engraved with a sophisticated guilloche
pattern and finished with several coats of lacquer. The creative design
flows, like waves of sand, into the cream-colored resin components of
the grip section, cap and lower end. The piston-fill fountain pen’s 18K
gold and rhodium nib is formed, polished and “run in” by a master’s
hand. A capped rollerball and twist-action ball pen complete this unique
collection.
