Since 1931, Reverso has been

arrow to the date display, a large off centre aperture in the upper left
segment of the dial displays days of the week. Placing a large day disc in
this position represents a significant feat in itself, made possible by
Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 836, a mechanical manually wound movement.
