OMAS
OGIVAL
INDIAN PALM
FOUNTAIN PEN
Ogival
Palm Wood
Soft Indian palm wood from the coconut palm tree was widely harvested
during the Renaissance, when it was considered to be symbolic of
perfection and happiness. Fitting, then, that Omas would find Palm wood to
be an ideal material for their Ogiva writing instrument. Black and light
hazelnut colors in the wood grain seem to "chase" each other
along the sensual curves of the pen. Finished with rhodiated sterling, the
fountain pen poses a rhodium-finished 18k gold nib and piston-filler
system.
