PELIKAN SOUVERAN SPECIAL EDITION M800 CLEAR DEMONSTRATOR MARKED VERSION FOUNTAIN PEN

This is a special edition pen to commemorate Pelikan 170th anniversary. The special marking in English is marked on the pen to show the names of different parts & mechanism. As the name "Demonstrator" implies, it demonstrates the different mechanism of the pen. Now it is easier than before to describe the parts with the names clearly marked on the pen.

Pelikan demonstrator pens have always been loved by pen lovers around the world. The first demonstrator was the Green version in 1996 and then again in 1998 with the Blue Ocean. Both were fully sold and the prices have escalated very high in the secondary market. Ten years later 2008, the M800T demonstrator was born but this time in the much sought after Clear See through version.

As this was a one run production, it will never be manufactured anymore. Nobody knows the exact quantity but based on Pelikan past records, I reckon that it should be in the region of 2000 pcs. As there are more than 2000 dealers around the world, one could imagine how difficult it was to get hold of the pen. If every dealer is given 1 piece, than 2000 pcs can only be allocated to the top 2000 dealers around the world. Really tough for Pelikan to do the allocation. Or in another expect, it was really tough for dealers to get hold of more pens. I expect this model to be sought after just like it Green and Blue Demonstrators. Watch out for it. There is alot of upside. I expect the price to double within short time.
