OMAS MOMA FOUNTAIN PEN
The OMAS MoMA
is held in high esteem by two types of customer – the one who simply wants
a first-rate fountain pen, and the other who sees it as a work of art. OMAS
designed this model in 1988 exclusively for the New York Museum of Modern
Art (MoMA) as a tribute to the whole long history of OMAS pen design. It
basically has a 1940s' look, but the trademark decoration rings go back to
the 1920s. The pen is made from briarwood which is very rare. You hardly see
this model anymore in the market. The interior contains a complex plunger
and ebonite ink-flow mechanism. The nib is of 18-carat gold with an iridium
tip.
