This would be similar
to the Green Demonstrator whereby they produced limited quantity but
with no serial number. As you probably have noticed that the "Green Ocean"
wasn't individually numbered too. So far only the Blue Ocean was individually
numbered. Only 2000 pcs will be produced for this White Ocean and it is
only for the Asia market. You cannot see this is USA or Europe unless of
course the dealers have brought in from Asia.
The clear
demonstrator is a very adorable piece. Look at the above photos and you would
understand. This is basically a M200 model. 125
mm (4.92") in length with cap closed. 148 mm (5.83") with
the cap posted behind the barrel. Diameter of the barrel is 12 mm
(0.47"). I have F, M and B nib. Please specify the nib size
otherwise I would assume that you are not particular.
In my humble opinion, this is
A must for Pelikan collectors!
Enjoy the following pictures...
Overview of the adorable "White Ocean"
Overview - with the cap removed
Adorable right? See through cap and the nib can be seen
from outside !!
Close up picture of the nib and cap section
Looking from another angle with the logo prominently
displayed.
"Pelikan" was engraved at the end of the cap
"Germany" was also engraved on the opposite
side of "Pelikan"
Comes with paper and boxes.
This can be found on the black dust cover.
Many people have asked me about the nib changing of
Pelikan, therefore I have decided to include it here. One thing good about
Pelikan is that the nib changing is very simple. The nib and feeder
section is threaded. With just a simple unscrewing action, the nib and
feeder section can be removed easily.
Unscrewing the nib and feeder section (turning
counterclockwise - viewing from right to left) and it will be
separated from its barrel
Turning clockwise (viewing from right to left), the nib
and feeder will be located into the barrel once again. Simple ! No special
tools and without any effort whatsoever.
If you have other M200's nib, you can easily change the
nib yourself.
Cheers!!
